The recent increase in state legislation centered on diversity, equity, and inclusion policies, staff, and offices has countless higher education professionals wondering how to navigate student success initiatives, who will be impacted or left behind, and what the future holds for recruitment and retention efforts.
Join us for a virtual roundtable discussion where we will look at the states where legislation has had the greatest impact on DEI and explore how we can bolster support and resilience through engagement with your professional associations. This is a space for our members to share their experiences with policy and operational changes and to learn from each other. We envision that this will be the first of many virtual roundtable discussions. Our goal is to develop strategies for supporting students and professional staff as we navigate the transforming political landscape of higher education.
We encourage you to complete this brief anonymous survey prior to the virtual roundtable to submit questions and share your experiences. We will use the responses from the survey to guide the conversation.
Join the virtual conversation via Zoom on Wednesday, September, 27 from 5-6pm CST. Click Here to join the meeting.
