The February SLI is intended for returning and experienced orientation leaders, including student coordinators, directors, and team leaders.
Are you looking for ways to enhance training and development of your Orientation Leaders? The virtual Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is an interactive learning opportunity that cultivates leadership and teamwork and prepares students to be confident and successful in their roles.
NODA is offering a variety of opportunities in 2024 for new and returning orientation and extended orientation leaders, regardless of their experience working with OTR programs. To view all of the options and explore which institute is best for your student leaders, click here for more information.
Each registrant will participate in two 3-hour virtual workshop sessions: February 20 and 21, 2024 (2-5 pm CST)
The sessions will be a combination of large group presentations and small group discussions led by NODA faculty. Students will work through a curriculum covering leadership theories, facilitation skills, conflict resolution, community building, and navigating the unique stresses of post-pandemic leadership.
